Non profit fundraiser programs

FastTRACK Executive Coordinator, WA Last year, with the help of his team, D A became the first Shaklee distributor to earn the $25,000 FastTRACK bonus, and he hasn’t looked back. Now on track to qualify for Atlantis and Bora Bora, D attributes success to serving the needs of others and teaching your team the art of leadership and how to inspire others.
So, it’s only natural that the N Center, a 501c3 non-profit D helped sponsor with D and K G and the Shaklee Fundraising Program, became the first non-profit in Shaklee to qualify as a Director, and on the FastTRACK too!
Founded in 1965 by parents of developmentally disabled children, the N Center creates independence for people with disabilities. They embrace a green statement, as do the customers they serve, making it a perfect fit with Shaklee and our mission.
The N Center is able to raise funds when people purchase quality, Earth-friendly, socially responsible Shaklee products that keep the people they serve on the leading edge of society, while helping Shaklee and the N Center to meet their goals and live their vision.
D loves the big vision, big dreams and big goals that Shaklee has, so that we can accommodate big thinkers. And isn’t that why we’re all here?

What non-profit (501c3) organization do you know of that would benefit from earning extra income? Who do you know that requires extra income?

blogchat on twitter

Spent an hour last night viewing blogchat. I'm still not sure I understand it and the screen refreshes so fast.  I guess blogging and chatting are a learned behavior but I will keep trying. Last night's discussion was about blogging outreach, sounds interesting & I will check it out further.

My tracking code hope it works

Shaklee introduces another great product!

Introducing Get Clean® Water

A fresh take on healthier water, Get Clean Water is a new multipatented water filtration system. Unlike other water pitchers, Get Clean Water uses a solid block of carbon to clean your water, reducing some pretty nasty contaminants--including up to 99 percent of lead.1
Get Clean Water is the first pitcher to use a refillable carbon-block filter system so there's less plastic to throw away.2 And it filters 80 gallons of water per filter--twice as much as Brita® and PUR®.3
Cleaner, healthier water and a cleaner, healthier planet?
We can all drink to that!
CLICK HERE TO ORDER YOUR WATER SYSTEM!
1Substances reduced may not be in all users' water.
2Compared to a similar, but nonrefillable, carbon-block filter system.
3Compared to Brita® and PUR® pitcher filters at 40 gallons. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Healthy winter driving

Copied from WKYC but useful to know. One of my biggest pet peeves is people that don't clean off the snow and ice from their cars and attempt to drive down the road. UNSAFE & ILLEGAL.

Winter driving is a challenge. You've probably been stuck behind drivers with mountain-deep snow on top of their vehicles and just small areas of the front and back windows cleared. That's dangerous for them and you and could be illegal.

One of the biggest things police and the Ohio Highway Patrol officers see are cars going down the road that only have the small cubby-hole cleared off and not the rest of the vehicle.

There are lots of laws on the books about winter driving and driving in general.

For example, a driver with frost- or snow-covered windows can be cited for having an obscured view.

And a new law that went into effect last Friday requires drivers to have their headlights on in any weather where the windshield wipers are in use. If you don't, you can be fined $100.

In some cities it is against the law to leave your car idling for more than 10 or 20 minutes. You could face fines for that in Cleveland, Maple Heights and South Euclid.

There's also a new state law that requires drivers to slow down or move over a lane when there's a tow truck driver on the side of the road. That law carries up to a $300 fine.

What if?

If every American spends $20/month on US made products, they would put $6 billion/month into our economy. That’s $72 billion/year.

If every American spends $20/week that’s $312 billion/year that would stay in the US economy.

With $100/week there would be $1.56 trillion remaining in the US economy each year!
